As we continue to improve the neighborhoods we serve through our public works projects, we strive to take our service a step further by contributing to charitable organizations within these communities and beyond. Listed below are some of these wonderful charities that help make the world a better place. We are proud to support these amazing organizations.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Wishes cause a spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses.
Big Brothers Big Sister Long Island
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
IRIE Therapeutic Horseback Riding
IRIE Therapeutic Horseback Riding works with children who have special needs by teaching the children about horses, how to ride them, and how to care for them. For more info contact iriehorses@aol.com.
Habitat for Humanity works toward its vision by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country by providing them with programs to deliver mortgage-free homes and hosting national walks.
POTS (Part Of The Solution) Open Door, Open Heart
POTS offers a mosaic of services to the Bronx community. Through their unique “one-stop-shop” model, they seek to provide clients with the widest variety of services possible under one roof to help them in their journey from crisis to stability, and ultimately self-sufficiency.
Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Research
The Lustgarten Foundation's mission is to cure pancreatic cancer by funding scientific and clinical research, providing research information and clinical support services to patients, caregivers, and individuals at high risk, and increasing public awareness and hope for those dealing with this disease.
The Helping Hand Rescue Mission seeks to improve the conditions of the communities they serve by providing food, clothing, and other essentials to people in need.
Suffolk County Police Athletic League
The Suffolk Police Athletic League strives to provide a community that the youth love being a part of. With their passionate team of volunteers, they continue to build communities and provide leadership skills to the next generations.
Akshaya Patra | Food For Education
At Akshaya Patra, they dream of a world where families won’t have to choose between food and education for their children. A wholesome meal prompts children, especially girls, to stay out of the workforce and attend school thereby addressing both classroom hunger and education. Only $20.00 feeds a child for an entire school year.
New Beginnings Community Center
New Beginnings Community Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility designed to provide rehabilitation, management, and recovery for community members with traumatic brain injury, physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities, or dementia—all in an exceptional, stimulating, and safe environment.
Island Harvest Food Bank has been leading hunger relief on Long Island since 1992. Their volunteers and staff now deliver millions of pounds of good, surplus food – much of which might otherwise go to waste – to a network of 570 Long Island-based food pantries, soup kitchens, and other non-profit organizations that offer feeding services for those in need.
Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes those toys to less fortunate children for the holidays.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital advances cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay.
BRC | Men's Shelters
BRC developed an innovative response to the needs of so-called “service resistant” individuals experiencing homelessness, recognizing that the style and size of most shelters were unappealing to those that were not able to meet typical shelter requirements for sobriety and maintaining curfew.
Staff Picked Charity Winner - JDRF
Forte TAP donates to various charities throughout the year, this year we wanted to hear from our employees and donate to a charity they are passionate about on Giving Tuesday. After much consideration, Forte TAP is proud to donate $10,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF is leading the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing a support network for millions of people around the world impacted by T1D.
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans of the military.
Kat's Ribbon of Hope funds life-saving research through its collaborations with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Feinstein Institute, and Weill Cornell Breast Center.
Stony Brook Hospital COVID Rapid Response Fund
The Stony Brook Hospital COVID Rapid Response Biodesign and Medical Engineering Fund quickly respond to evolving needs for novel medical equipment based on feedback received from the front-line clinical providers at the hospital. Funds raised go directly to collaborative and innovative device design, interactive rapid prototyping, and the testing and rollout of solutions addressing the health and safety of COVID-19 patients and their healthcare providers.
